When the COVID-19 pandemic hit I started taking seriously my interest in web development and have since completed an accelerated full-stack web development program with the York University School of Continuing Studies. I like to paint and draw in my spare time and love that I’m able to blend my technical side with my creative side. I’m a huge fan of working remotely and spending time with my husband, 200+ houseplants, a cat, a snake, and 4 dart frogs.
Favourite city: Singapore. This city is living proof that nature and urban can coexist. I’d love to visit someday.
My urban attribute: Probably creativity. There’s nothing I love more when visiting a city than seeing cool architecture, street art, and urban installations.
Guilty pleasure: Sea salt & malt vinegar chips dipped in hazelnut spread. (Find me a snack that satisfies more cravings at once, I dare you!)
My role at YouthfulCities: Keeping the Open Data Hub and Youthful Cities websites up-to-date, accessible, and finding new ways to connect with data digitally.
